The Journey to XeroShoes

Have you ever wondered how the journey began searching for XeroShoes? It started about three to five years ago when I watched a video on how slippers were made all around the world. They would call them sandals in majority of my research.

As I watched video after video, one particular video caught my eye of a village in Africa that made sandals and slipper out of old tires. Now, the sandals they made were not cheap looking, but this is the type of sandals you would find shopping at your local mall. So, of course I had to buy one to try it out. I did. I sent my request to purchase. I was confirmed and my sandals was on its way.

When we talk about a journey, it took about a month before I actually get my package in the mail. It had to go through some procedures passing customs and finally arrived. As I inspected my sandals, it looked exactly like the pictures online. But it lasted only a year before it started to breakdown. The glue started to come apart and the leather piece which comprised of the strap started to break down. I used my slippers everywhere. When I went shopping, went to the beach, small hikes, and just everyday use. I put much miles on these sandals.

So, I continued my search online using YouTube as a search engine. I typed in eco shoes or tire sandals. It brought up a bunch of video on people in Africa and Thailand making these types of sandals. I was not convinced. I search on and continued down and saw Tamahumara Sandals. That is something worth exploring.

I watched that video and search so more. Than this company called invisible shoes came up. Not sure what it was but I was thinking it was near by like within the United States. That company changed its name to XeroShoes. And found out from the video I watched they had a website. Their website did not look like what you see today.

I was curious and got the DIY Kit and made my own sandals. Than I saw on the website I could be a tester and try them out and give feedback online. That is what I did. Today, I really enjoy my XeroShoes and hope for a great relationship with the company as we progress in getting the word out.

Xero Shoes Review

My first time using the Today, I am doing another product review about Xeroshoes website was just an awesome experience. If you had issues, you could call them, email and they will get back to you within twenty four to forty eight hours. Looking at most of the products, I see that there have been many changes from the original to make the experience of using your Xeroshoes more pleasant time. My Xeroshoes were shipped right away and they arrived fast.

The Prio’s are one of my favorite shoes and here’s why because they’re naturally fitting shoes. I like how light they are and have breathable fabric for the feet. They’re my favorite color blue and have matching shoe lace strings and they’re strong. The chevron treading and it’s the same as many of their sandals you have the same treading to grip roads, terrain, and other types of pavement to help you get around faster and they are very flexible. These are like running shoes as anyone can use them for walking jogging and maybe even for zumba.

The Coaltan in black are another one of my favorites because its pretty cool and has a well-defined platform on the bottom and the insoles keep your feet dry. Something about the Coaltan is that they have a leather skin look and a lacing system in which you could get from Xeroshoes to have flex locking lacing with reflectors built in is great for using at night when you are out and about in town.
These shoes comes in Black and Mesquite which I like it because you a choice in choosing the right color with your clothes. Having flexible shoes which has great room for motion to move around in as it has also that 5000 mile sole warranty Chevron treading to allow you to go as far as you want without worries.

Alright, the Daylite Hiker is not heavy at all. It’s actually very light coming in at ten point two ounces, a very light shoe that has the breathable mesh, and a zero drop heel which is good for posture. The natural feel and good flex and low to the ground for balance and flexibility that gives you great agility.

Very light footwear which has that five thousand mile sole warranty both my Xeroshoes and my vibram sandals which is made from the do it yourself kit they offer is an easy but unforgettable purchase.
